The role of Sustainable Resource Management is to provide support on provincial economic analysis,fiscal policy,and the management of the annual budget process and the implementation of Provincial Budgets.
To influence the development and/or implementation of goverment policies and programmes in support of enhanced economic growth and development within the Free State Province.
To enhance the provincial revenue growth through the development and implementation of sound fiscal policy framework in the Free State Province.
To ensure that Provincial financial resources are allocated in line with government priorities.
To monitor and advise on financial and non-financial performance of provincial departments and public entities.
